Ginger Sesame Tofu


  • Firm tofu, pressed and dried
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbps maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/2tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1tsbp grated ginger
  • 1/2 cup of onion
  • 1/2 cup capsicum
  • 1/2 cup green beans


Slice tofu into cubes and add to a bowl with cornstarch and salt, cover the cubes evenly.

Heat a pan with oil and try the cubes until crispy. Set aside.

Heat more oil in the same pan and add the onion and capsicum and fry for 5mins. Add the green beans and cook for another 5 mins.

Add the sauce mixture and heat for a minute, then add the tofu cubes and stir until the sauce bubbles and thickens.
