This is my quick n’ easy flatbread recipe. For some reason serving a more complicated dish with a very simple flatbread impresses people more.


  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2tsp of yeast
  • 1tsp of salt
  • 1tsp of sugar
  • 1/2Tbs of oil
  • 1 cup of warm water


Mix the dry ingredients together.

Add the oil and water and stir to combine into a sticky dough.

Leave to prove for 1hr.

Gently deflate the dough and then make six dough balls. Place them on a tray and leave to prove for 30 mins.

Roll each ball out to about 3mm thick circles.

Heat a dry pan to a high heat and cook each bread for about 1min on each side.
