Creamy Prawn Pasta


  • Prawns
  • Spinach
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Cream
  • Tomatoes
  • Butter
  • Chili
  • Paprika
  • Oregano
  • Basil
  • White wine
  • Parmesan or peccarino


Season prawns with salt and pepper. Fry the prawns in shallow pan of oil. Don’t overcook them. Remove them from the pan.

Add the butter to the pan along with the onions and garlic and gently fry for 10mins.

Add the tomatoes and cook for 5 mins.

Add chili, paprika and oregano. Sauté together.

De glaze with a glass of white wine.

Bring to a simmer and reduce.

Add the spinach and let it wilt.

Add peccarino or Parmesan.

Return the prawns to the pan along with the basil.

Add the cream and simmer gently.

Check for seasoning.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to combine.
