I’ve just conducted the first harvest from my Flowhive. This had been some time in the making and I was a little bit nervous, having never done it before. The hive is under a large photenia in the backyard that has been blooming consistently over these warmer months. There’s also plum, citrus, gum trees and some bottle brushes nearby that I see the squadrons visiting regularly. I know they go further afield but I’m not entirely sure where. They know what they’re doing. And they sure do know how to make honey!
