As the Age of Omicron continues, the household finally fell to that insidious virus. However, the Pfizer vaccine (dose 1: 6 Oct 2021, dose 2: 27 Oct 2021) appeared to shield me from the symptoms of the disease entirely. The same can’t be said for Shelley. Contact and infection must have occurred between the 3rd and 5th of January. Her symptoms began to emerge on the 7th however a PCR test on the X yielded a negative result. Body aches, headaches, some nausea and fatigue were the dominant features. They receded and were replaced with stuffy/runny nose and sneezing. Symptoms began to fade on the 22nd and by the 26th, with the exception of some fatigue by the end of the day, the disease had resolved.
