This year I’ll be voting in a brand new local electorate. Since I’ve moved and since boundaries have redrawn and the size of the legislative assembly increased, I now live in Yerrabi. This is a good opportunity for those with a democratic orientation. While the seats will be filled with familiar faces, north Canberra is new and growing fast. The needs and wants of the constitutes will, in some cases, be unique. As the election grows closer I’ll be adding posts here on issues, conversations with the candidates and whatever else ends up being relevant.
