It’s local election day here, we’re voting on the makeup of the Legislative Assembly. There have been a lot of ads and flyers in my letterbox. Along with the US election, that’s about all there is on TV right now….cool!
The Riot Act (popular Canberran online soapbox) has done something that will make you say “Hey, that’s an interesting idea.” but somehow I missed the event until today; the candidates running for this election were invited to participate in a Sim City Challenge. Build a city over three hours (at a pub) and show everyone just how competent an administrator you are. Beer drinking was allowed (encouraged, I assume).
